What is Ease of Use?

There’s nothing easy about it.

The Arthritis Foundation created the Ease-of-Use Program to encourage manufacturers to design user-friendly products and packaging that could be recommended to the millions of people living with arthritis. To receive the Ease-of-Use Commendation, manufacturers submit products to the Arthritis Foundation for a series of tests. Each submitted product is evaluated by a team of scientists as well as arthritis sufferers. To receive the commendation, the product must receive a pass rating on all evaluation items and a majority of the testers must be able to use the product with little or no difficulty.
